VIRIDYN 101-X is an electronic-grade fluoropolymer conformal nano coating for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs), LED assemblies, Ball Grid Arrays (BGAs), connectors, sensors and other sensitive electronic assemblies.
VIRIDYN 101-X is available in polymer concentrations ranging from 0.2%—20% in fluorosolvent. At a 2% polymer concentration, VIRIDYN 101-X creates a ~200 nanometer waterproof film that protects electronic assemblies against corrosion, chemicals, lubricating oils, and moisture.
VIRIDYN 101-X at a 2% concentration is an excellent replacement for 3M Novec 1700. The VIRIDYN 101-X family of electronic-grade coatings offers alternatives to several other products from the discontinued 3M Novec Electronic Grade Coatings range.
Masking of components is optional when using VIRIDYN 101-X, depending on the chosen polymer concentration.
No curing is required when using VIRIDYN 101-X. The coating is dry and fully functional within seconds to minutes after application.
VIRIDYN 101-X PC contains an optional UV tracer for visual quality control.
VIRIDYN 101-XP-300 and VIRIDYN 101-X-DA are PFAS-free electronic-grade coatings that are alternatives to VIRIDYN 101-X.
