Ruggedized Electronics
ViriDyn’s oleophobic and hydrophobic nano-coatings protect high-performance ruggedized electronics internally and externally.
Protection for Vital Internal Electronics:
Waterproofing & Dust-proofing (up to IPX5 without mechanical seals or gaskets): circuit boards, connectors and wiring. Learn how IP ratings work below.
Prevent Moisture Ingress through vents and apertures.
Chemical, Corrosion & Salt-Fog Resistance for circuit boards, connectors and wiring.
Protection for External Components:
Anti-Fouling, Anti-Smudging, Impermeable: protect touchscreens and high-contact displays from fingerprints, oils, and contaminants.
Anti-Scratch, Anti-Abrasion: up to 9H hardness for touchscreens, displays, glass surfaces, and camera lenses.
Anti-Vandal, Anti-Tampering: protect lenses, safety-systems (e.g. emergency lighting) sensors, surveillance from graffiti.

How do Ingress Protection (IP) ratings work?
An IP rating, or Ingress Protection rating, is a two-digit code that classifies how well an electrical enclosure is protected against solids (like dust) and liquids (like water). The first digit indicates protection against solids, and the second digit indicates protection against liquids, with higher numbers meaning greater protection.
